I'm hoping someone might have experience to help with this one. I'm using Pro Tools 12 to record and edit, mix etc audio. I am working with a Macbook Pro and am about to set up a permanent setup (ie not mobile). I am told Mac Mini would do the job well, but it seems for the same specs a Mac Mini is basically pretty terrible value compared with a PC. I am just not a PC person usually, and I am also concerned that a PC would have a noisy fan.
